New Delhi: The shooting of the international feature film Little Teacher, being produced under the banner of Rai Films, commenced with a traditional muhurat ceremony at Mandi House, the heart of Delhi’s film and theatre fraternity.
The auspicious first shot of the film was given by Creative Film Director Suniel Parashar in the presence of Producer Amit Rai. The ceremony began with prayers and blessings for the success of the film. Also present were Co-Producer Shravan Kumar Panwar, Director Sam CJ, Assistant Director Suraj, Cinematographer Gunjan, and the entire film crew.
Speaking on the occasion, Suniel Parashar said, “I have known Amit Rai for a long time. He is an extremely hardworking and dedicated filmmaker. Little Teacher is a deeply touching story about children who survive by collecting waste on the streets. The film conveys a powerful message that if these children receive proper guidance, education, and opportunities, they can completely transform their lives—even rise to become officers such as District Collectors. We are confident that Little Teacher will make its mark at international film festivals and emerge as an award-winning film.”
Sharing his thoughts, Producer Amit Rai said that Little Teacher is an education-based social film that aims to highlight the importance of education and its positive impact on society. One of the film’s unique features is the participation of a large number of children from Bal Bhavan, providing young talents with a valuable platform to showcase their acting abilities.
The film stars well-known Bollywood actors Khanak Kashyap, Meenakshi, Divya, Utkarsh, Aazal, and Mukesh Kumar Rao in prominent roles, while Vedika Chaudhary appears in a special creative role.
The film has been shot at several iconic locations across Delhi, including Mandi House, Connaught Place, the Railway Station, Purana Qila, and various residential settlements, capturing the city’s authentic social landscape.
Producer Amit Rai emphasized that Little Teacher is not merely an entertainment film but an inspiring cinematic project that delivers a meaningful message about education and social transformation. He expressed confidence that the film will receive appreciation at both national and international film festivals and establish itself as an award-winning production.
